Taking cues from the history and landscape of Washington’s Navy Yard, the lobby design creates a welcoming space for employees to work and congregate. Inspired by shipbuilding and the movement of water, the natural wood, soft finishes and deep teal tones subtly pay homage to the neighborhood’s beginnings.

Up Top Acres - 55M’s Rooftop Farm

Rooftop

The rooftop at 55 M offers employees a true urban oasis, an escape from the day-to-day. Enclosed in greenery and farmland, the terrace design combines colors and materials reflective of the city juxtaposed with plants, graphics, and furniture that reference a rural landscape. Movable partitions provide flexible spaces for groups to meet, celebrate, or unwind. Further, the rooftop is uniquely positioned to offer panoramic views of DC’s skyline and Nationals Park, and access to a farmed garden – which boasts produce ranging from herbs to edible flowers, watermelon, and swiss chard.
